Lebanese President Aoun said his government will not accept any negotiation outcome short of Israel ending its occupation of Lebanese territory and Lebanon restoring full territorial sovereignty. He was briefed on a Lebanese delegation's report from the fifth round of Lebanon–US–Israel talks in Washington. In calls with US Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Rubio, Aoun and US officials discussed recent developments and phased progress in US–Iran talks in Switzerland; Vance and Rubio said the US supports Lebanon's push to extend legitimate state authority across its territory and strengthen control over national sovereignty.

Tongda Co. chairman Ma Hongju said H1 overseas order signings rose, but copper and aluminium price inflation, RMB appreciation, surging shipping costs and geopolitical disruptions delayed projects, leaving shipments roughly flat YoY.
