China launched marketized transmission-rights trading on the Yunxiao DC corridor
on June 1. The first organized trade began physical power delivery on June 21,
sending Anhui green electricity into Guangdong. The deal involved 113 market
entities from Anhui and Guangdong and cleared over 20 million kWh. Winning firms
secured transmission rights and simultaneously locked cross-grid green-power
transactions, enabling coordinated delivery across the two grid regions.
