China National Nuclear Power’s Tianwan nuclear base in Lianyungang, Jiangsu has
delivered cumulative on-grid generation exceeding 500 billion kWh, saving the
equivalent of more than 150 mln tonnes of standard coal and cutting CO2
emissions by over 400 mln tonnes. The output equals annual electricity for about
136 mln Chinese households and could power the nation’s computing centers
continuously for roughly 2.9 years.
