Taiwan Weighted Index opened 334.82 points higher on Tuesday, June 23, up 0.7% at 48,076.33 points.

Jingdezhen meteorological observatory issued a red rainstorm warning at 08:44 on June 23. It forecasts rainfall exceeding 100 mm within the next three hours in parts of the city and south‑central Fuliang County, accompanied by short‑duration intense downpours, lightning and other strong convective activity. Authorities warned of risks of urban and rural inundation, small‑ and medium‑river flooding, mountain flash floods and related geological hazards.
