MOFCOM and eight other ministries issued measures to cultivate and expand the
automotive aftermarket. The ministries will coordinate implementation with auto
circulation and consumption reform pilots, and quickly resolve difficulties
raised by localities and firms. Regions must establish work mechanisms, ensure
measures are implemented, and guide pilot cities with resource support and
existing fiscal funding channels to develop automotive aftermarket service
consumption scenarios. Pilot cities for new consumption formats, models and
scenarios are encouraged to include eligible consumption scenarios in their
support scope, focus on priority directions, complete pilot tasks promptly, and
produce replicable, promotable experience to grow aftermarket consumption.
