MOFCOM said at a June 23 briefing that as of June 22 consumer trade-in programmes have generated 5 trillion yuan in cumulative related goods sales and benefited about 630 million participants. Automotive trade-ins accounted for 63% of sales; MOFCOM said the schemes have supported consumption and aided industry renewal and product circulation.

June 22 — Zhejiang University Ningbo Institute of Technology and Yushu Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to establish the Yushu Robotics Industry College. First-phase cooperation covers 11 majors including mechanical design & manufacturing and automation, electronic information engineering, and computer science; the program will run a Yushu Robotics Innovation class under a school‑enterprise joint governance model and focus on talent for upstream core components, midstream “brain+body” systems, and downstream application scenarios, aiming to produce applied, interdisciplinary engineers with embodied intelligence and robotics competencies.
