ASEAN secretary-general said at a Jakarta forum marking the 5th anniversary of the China‑ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership that ASEAN and China should deepen cooperation to address rising global challenges, prioritizing peace and stability, digital transformation and innovation, energy cooperation, resilience to transnational threats, and people‑to‑people connectivity. China’s ambassador to ASEAN said Beijing is willing to expand cooperation with ASEAN in the digital economy, AI, clean energy, blue‑economy development, agriculture and climate-change response to promote innovation and green, sustainable growth in the region.

Jordan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met EU High Representative Kallas in Amman on the 22nd and urged an immediate halt to Israel's illegal actions in the West Bank, citing settlement expansion, toleration of settler violence, land confiscations and ongoing infringements on Jerusalem's religious sites. The two agreed to deepen Jordan-EU cooperation and coordinate on shared regional and international concerns.
