India's asset-backed securities market reached a record as global banks increased purchases to gain exposure to one of the world's fastest-growing major economies. On the evening of the 21st, HEZBOLLAH leader Naim Qassem said in a televised address the group would respond to any Israeli aggression, called Israel an aggressor that must withdraw, and said continued Israeli troop presence on Lebanese territory was "impossible" and there is no space in Lebanon for an Israeli "security zone." He added Lebanon has its own national army responsible for safeguarding sovereignty and said HEZBOLLAH cooperates with the Lebanese Armed Forces.

Baghaei, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman traveling with the Iranian negotiating delegation to Switzerland, said on his personal social media on the 21st that Iran will rigorously follow up on US fulfilment of its commitments. The Switzerland meeting aimed to track implementation of clauses in the Iran–US memorandum of understanding; under Article 13, launching final-agreement talks depends on execution of Articles 1, 4, 5, 10 and 11. Article 1 — ending wars on all fronts, including Lebanon — must be implemented before final negotiations can begin.
