On the 22nd Iran foreign ministry spokesman BAGHAEI said Iran and the US reached
an agreement document after 18 hours of talks and that mediators Qatar and
Pakistan will publish the text. Talks addressed groundwork for final-agreement
negotiations; technical working groups will continue to resolve implementation
issues under the Iran‑US memorandum of understanding, including issuance of
Iranian oil sales licenses and unfreezing Iranian assets, BAGHAEI said, adding
progress was good. He said the negotiating team's work has ended and Iran will
not continue talks in a four-party format after the US issued a threatening
statement during the session; Qatar and Pakistan have committed to continue
mediation.
