Refinitiv, citing Iranian sources, reports Iran-US talks in Switzerland have been paused but not ended.

Pakistan's prime minister thanked Switzerland for its support and constructive engagement after signing a historic Islamabad MoU, saying both sides agreed that successful implementation would aid regional peace and stability and bolster global economic prosperity.

The first round of U.S.-Iran talks in Switzerland concluded on the 21st after an 80-minute session, Iran said. Pakistan and Qatar participated as mediators; the meeting was adjourned for a break and internal consultations. Iran said the nuclear programme was not discussed; discussions focused on implementing Article 13 of a memorandum of understanding and prioritized Lebanon-related issues.
