Danny Citrinowicz of the Institute for National Security Studies said the blockade “would not force the regime to bend to Washington’s demands,” adding the conflict could leave Iran “stronger than before.”

Reports said flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi were suspended following the activation of air defense systems in the United Arab Emirates, according to unnamed news sources cited in the update.
