China’s passenger car market is expected to see a gradual recovery in April, continuing recent trends, the China Passenger Car Association said. With 21 working days in April—one fewer than a year earlier—production and sales are forecast to edge higher despite lingering pressure from the phase-out of NEV support policies. The association said government consumption stimulus and auto shows are likely to help boost demand and market activity.
