Apple Inc. is on track to debut its first foldable iPhone in September alongside
the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, despite earlier reports of engineering delays.
While supply may be constrained initially due to display complexity, the company
plans a near-simultaneous release with other models. The device, priced above
$2,000, aims to address durability and screen-crease issues and will feature an
iPad-like interface when unfolded. The launch is part of Apple’s broader effort
to refresh the iPhone lineup and compete with established foldable offerings.
