Pony AI Inc. and Uber Technologies Inc. have begun testing robotaxis in Zagreb, expanding their partnership into Europe. The service, launched with local startup Verne, will deploy BAIC’s Arcfox Alpha T5 vehicles equipped with Pony AI technology, first via Verne’s app and later on Uber. The move supports Pony AI’s global expansion and Uber’s ambition to scale robotaxi services across multiple markets, with plans to grow fleets across Europe.
