IRAN'S ARAQCHI: FRIENDLY COUNTRIES INCLUDING CHINA, RUSSIA, INDIA, IRAQ, AND PAKISTAN WERE ALLOWED TO PASS THROUGH STRAIT OF HORMUZ

Abbas Araghchi said Iran is not engaged in negotiations with the U.S. and does not consider indirect message exchanges via mediators as talks. He added Tehran has no intention of pursuing discussions after reviewing a recent U.S. proposal. Araghchi said Iran “is not seeking war and wants a permanent end to the conflict,” underscoring a refusal to negotiate despite ongoing mediation efforts.
