China’s State Administration for Market Regulation said it is advancing an assessment of competition in the food delivery platform sector. The regulator has conducted on-site inspections at major platforms, held meetings with merchants and industry groups, and gathered feedback from riders and consumers. It will continue using inspections, interviews and surveys to evaluate competitive practices and consider potential regulatory measures.
