The SpaceX team had placed an order with a leading Chinese heterojunction equipment maker, with exports subject to regulatory filing and approval. Orders are split between SpaceX (S-chain) for space applications and Tesla (T-chain) for ground use. Discussions on T-chain orders with several TOPCon equipment makers are still ongoing, the source said.
