Zheng Zhajie, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at a meeting that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, it is expected that over 700,000 kilometers of underground pipelines will be constructed and renovated, requiring over 5 trillion yuan in new investment.
