Gold futures rose for the second day in a row, up 1.7% to $3,362.50 an ounce, due to a weaker dollar and continued safe-haven demand. David Morrison, senior market analyst at Trade Nation, pointed out that despite the rebound in market risk appetite, demand for safe-haven assets such as gold remains strong under the continued catalysis of geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties.
