National Hurricane Center: Tropical Storm Barry is about 95 miles southeast of Tampico, Mexico; maximum sustained winds are 45 miles per hour. Barry is expected to have little change in intensity before landfall, but the storm is expected to begin to weaken rapidly as it moves inland. It is currently approaching the eastern coast of Mexico, and heavy rainfall and flash flooding are expected in parts of eastern Mexico in the next few days.
