At the close of midday trading, the main domestic futures contracts rose more than fell, with crude oil rising more than 6%, paraxylene, PTA, European container lines, methanol, liquefied gas, short fibers, and LU fuel rising more than 3%, and styrene (EB), fuel oil, and bottle chips rising nearly 3%; in terms of decline, polysilicon fell nearly 2%, and Shanghai lead fell nearly 1%.
