On Nov 6 Beijing time, CHINA'S HE held a video call with US Treasury Secretary Bessent and US Trade Representative Grier to discuss implementing leaders' Beijing and Washington summit agreements and outcomes of bilateral trade consultations. China voiced serious concern about recent US trade restrictions. Both sides agreed, under presidential strategic guidance, to continue using the bilateral economic and trade consultation mechanism to strengthen cooperation, manage differences and promote steady, positive development in China‑US economy and trade relations toward a constructive, stable strategic relationship based on respect, fairness and reciprocity.
