China President Xi met U.S. President Trump at the White House on Sept. 24. Xi
said the new positioning of a constructive, strategically stable China‑U.S.
relationship reflects current realities and future expectations and is an
important step toward a proper bilateral relationship; he urged both sides to
convert that vision into action to build a more stable, healthy and sustainable
China‑U.S. relationship.
