Traders say Saudi Arabia has sold nearly 100 million barrels to Asian buyers
since mid‑last week, with October‑November deliveries to transit the Strait of
Hormuz. Buyers include refiners in China, India, Japan and South Korea. The
volume is roughly one day of global oil demand and has more than doubled recently
Saudi flows to Asia via Hormuz. Saudi Arabia’s east‑west oil pipeline has not
fully resumed following the Sept. 10 attack; ARAMCO is in early stages of
restarting the pipeline and aims for substantive restoration by Saturday.
