She stated that this would not only help undermine Houthi confidence but also weaken their deeply ingrained propaganda narrative. However, Kendall added that the Houthis' gains so far are still very significant; they are altering the power balance in Yemen, making the Saudi-backed government appear weak and passive. The key now lies in whether government forces can retake the newly captured Houthi territory and stop their further expansion.
