Deutsche Bank chief U.S. equity strategist Binky Chadha said investors need not
overreact to the outcome of China‑U.S. talks. Markets hope the leaders’ meeting
will ease trade tensions and lower tariffs, but Chadha flagged corporate
earnings as the dominant market driver and said earnings remain robust. Q3
reporting season begins in earnest around mid‑October; Chadha expects results to
be strong relative to current valuations and to support further upside. In
August Deutsche Bank projected S&P 500 earnings to rise 28% in 2026.
