Sept 23 — Hengqin port’s inbound duty-free shop opened, allowing residents
travelers entering from Macau to purchase up to 15,000 yuan of duty-free goods.
The launch completes a duty-free retail ecosystem linking port inbound duty-free
stores and island-wide departure tax-refund shops to support the development of the
Hengqin International Tourism Island.
