Australia's NVIDIA-backed AI startup Firmus Technologies is negotiating about
$10 billion of financing with lenders to buy NVIDIA chips for an Indonesian data
center. The proposed package is roughly $7.5 billion of debt and $2.5 billion of
equity, with a possible five-year tenor. If completed, the deal would be among
Asia's largest AI infrastructure financings. Talks coincide with Firmus's
planned IPO in late October, which could raise up to $5 billion. Proceeds are
earmarked for GPUs for a 360 MW NVIDIA DSX AI campus on Batam Island, being
developed with DayOne Data Centers as part of an eight-year partnership with
NVIDIA. Firmus declined to comment.
