Puran Co. told investors its VCM driver business has begun mass shipments of
multiple open-loop voice-coil motor (VCM) driver chips to several brands
smartphone customers, materially lifting market share. Its second-generation
discrete OIS chip and a new OIS for main/telephoto and periscope lenses are in
high-volume production. The company also introduced its first closed-loop driver
chip to meet large-stroke applications, targeting high-end use cases such as
foldable screens and periscope cameras.
