However, according to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Ahram, citing a diplomatic source in Tehran, "as of now, such a meeting is not on the Iranian delegation's agenda." The source added, "Iran has always welcomed ending the state of war through dialogue and diplomacy, but will not participate in the kind of 'performance diplomacy' that Trump is trying to promote, because such diplomacy will not bring any substantial results."
