At the opening of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed performance. SC crude oil and ethylene glycol (EG) fell by more than 3%, while staple fiber, bottled chips, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fell by more than 2%. Styrene (EB), polypropylene (monthly average), and plastics (monthly average) fell by nearly 2%. On the upside, container shipping to Europe rose by more than 2%, platinum, silver, nickel, lithium carbonate, and cast aluminum rose by more than 1%, and stainless steel (SS) and international copper rose by nearly 1%.
