Iran denied media reports that it would hold a new round of talks with the
United States next week. A source close to Iran’s negotiating team said claims
that preparations in Islamabad are complete and that technical-level talks would
continue next week are untrue and have no factual basis. The source added Tehran
will announce any changes to the US-Iran negotiation process only via official
channels and that foreign media reports are not reliable.
