According to South Korean media reports, Tesla has rolled out its latest driver assistance feature, "Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised v14 Light," in South Korea for US-made Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. Following its initial debut in North America in late June, South Korea becomes the second market to receive this update. FSD Supervised is a driver assistance feature that allows the vehicle to perform actions such as route navigation, steering, lane changing, intersection maneuvering, and parking while under continuous driver monitoring. Tesla states that compared to previous versions, this version offers a more natural and stable response in corners or complex driving environments. The industry is closely watching whether the feature's applicability will be expanded to China-made Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. To achieve significant growth in the number of FSD users, these models, which currently dominate sales in the South Korean market, must be included. Currently, Tesla has not disclosed any plans or timelines for applying this update to China-made models.
