Analyst Alex Alfirraz Scheers said U.S.-Iran talks could resume but are likely
symbolic and unlikely to produce meaningful results unless there is substantive
trust- and confidence-building. He noted U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran
twice during negotiations, causing major damage, have entrenched Iranian
hostility and left domestic debate focused on whether the U.S. can be trusted to
deliver on any commitments.
