rose more than 5%. Guangdong’s draft 15th Five-Year Plan for the information and
communications industry calls for accelerating construction of a computing-power
network and upgrading network services to create new industry growth poles. The
draft seeks continued development of a national integrated computing-power
network, including a Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area national hub
node, and supports telecom operators building real-time computing centers and
edge-computing nodes.
