Meta Platforms is testing a prototype called Super Sensing: AI glasses that
continuously record audio and capture photos every few seconds to let users
query or reconstruct what they saw and heard, people familiar with the matter
said. The feature has prompted internal debate over privacy; executives have
discussed disabling the LED recording indicator when Super Sensing is enabled,
though plans could change, the people said. Meta may add Super Sensing features
to existing smart glasses via software updates.
