The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) secretary-general condemned Iranian attacks
on Bahrain and Kuwait, saying they flagrantly violated the two states’
sovereignty, directly threatened civilians and residents, and breached
international law and the UN Charter. In a Riyadh-based statement he said the
strikes reflect a pattern of Tehran undermining international and regional
efforts to build security and resolve crises.
