Reuters reported a U.S. official said Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz are
completely unacceptable and the U.S. will respond; U.S. negotiators remain
engaged and pursuing a final agreement in good faith. The U.S. Treasury posted a
notice revoking a general license related to Iran, saying it will phase out the
license issued June 21, 2026 that authorized production, delivery and sale of
Iranian crude, petrochemical and petroleum products.
