Algeria’s National Independent Electoral Authority on the 6th published
preliminary counts from the election held on the 2nd for the People’s National
Assembly, showing the ruling National Liberation Front (FLN) leading with 90 of
407 seats. These preliminary results are subject to review by the Constitutional
Court, which will announce the final outcome.
