SemiAnalysis said NVIDIA (NVDA.O) has delayed its next-generation flagship Kyber
rack architecture—designed for the 2027 Rubin Ultra chip—by more than 12 months
to 2028 after encountering manufacturing problems with the system's PCB
mid-board. SemiAnalysis said NVIDIA currently has no mature solution to scale
Rubin Ultra, a shortfall that could open a rare technical window for competitors
AMD (AMD.O) and Google (GOOG.O), whose in-house chips have been adopted in
leading AI labs.
