President Trump said in a phone interview that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu
has requested a White House meeting, which could take place as early as next
week after Trump returns from the NATO summit. The Israeli prime minister's
office said on July 3 that Netanyahu and Trump agreed in a phone call to meet in
the United States soon. Trump also said the U.S. and Iran have agreed to pause
negotiations for one week until funeral‑related events for Iran's late Supreme
Leader Ali Khamenei concludes, and that neither side would open fire during that
period.
