Major Jason Watson was arrested on the Capitol steps after calling for the
impeachment of President Trump and Vice President Vance. Watson said
presidentially ordered military strikes against foreign targets — absent an
imminent, grave threat to US interests — amount to an unconstitutional
usurpation of Congress’s war powers. He alleged recent actions against
Venezuela, Cuba and Iran have killed 13 service members and wounded hundreds and
said the president and vice president should be impeached, convicted and
removed.
