Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth said at an internal all-hands that a review of a recent
data-security incident linked to the company’s controversial mouse-tracking
program found no employee data in AI training sets. Meta paused the project last
month — which logged employees’ mouse movements and digital activity for AI
training — and is investigating a sensitive data leak. Bosworth said any restart
would be voluntary opt-in.
