The Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.4% to 4,454.28. Turnover was HKD 369.63 bln, versus HKD 308.05 bln on the prior session. Compute-hardware and semiconductor names led declines following offshore moves, with several stocks down more than 10%. Autos, rare earths and precious metals outperformed; innovative-drug names rallied again in the afternoon.
