The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security said a pilot program providing occupational-injury protection for workers in new forms of employment will be rolled out nationwide from this month. Newly added platform firms include nine ride‑hailing platforms — T3 Chuxing, Huaxiaozhu Chuxing, Yangguang Chuxing, Ruqi Chuxing, Xiangdao Chuxing, Jishi Yongche, Fengyun Chuxing, Shouqi Yueche and Meituan Dache — and five instant‑delivery platforms — Xiaoxiang Supermarket, Hema (Freshippo), Dingdong Maicai, Pupu Supermarket and UU Paotui. Provinces will, on a “mature one batch, include one batch” basis, incorporate locally registered small‑ and mid‑sized platform firms across three pilots industries into the program within the year.
