US tech reporter Mark Gurman reported Apple is planning upgraded iPad Pro models
and a redesigned entry-level MacBook Pro for 2027. Apple is testing four iPads
Pro models targeted for spring 2027; sizes will remain 11-inch and 13-inch.
Upgrades are focused on internal changes, including faster chips. Apple has
tested vapor-chamber heat-spread (VC liquid cooling) for iPads to improve
sustained performance and reduce overheating. Separately, Apple plans a
redesigned entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro, codename K104, due in 1H 2027; its
design will align with an upcoming high-end touch-screen MacBook expected late
this year to early next year.
