The Yangtze River Navigation Administration (Ministry of Transport) said the Three Gorges navigation hub handled 76.642 mln tonnes in Jan–Jun 2026, including 22.0467 mln tonnes of livelihood supplies and 0.6995 mln tonnes of priority emergency cargo. The ship lock completed 4,527 lockages, processing about 17,000 vessel transits and 74.325 mln tons; the ship lift ran 2,129 cycles, moved 2,156 vessels and carried 328,000 passengers, with passenger trips up 13.6% YoY.
