XPeng robotics head Mi Liangchuan has recently left the company. CEO He Xiaopeng
is personally assuming leadership of the XPeng Robotics Center and its product
division. Mi spent about 15 years at NVIDIA with extensive autonomous-driving
experience; he joined XPeng in 2021 as senior director of autonomous driving,
was promoted to head of enterprise processes in April 2023 and to head of
robotics in September 2023. External observers had identified Mi, Chen Jie, Ge
Yixiao and Liu Xianming as the four core leaders of XPeng’s robotics team.
