At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with benzene rising over 2%, and eggs, propylene, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), live pigs, and styrene (EB) rising over 1%. On the downside, nickel fell nearly 3%, platinum, silver, aluminum, and gold fell over 2%, cast aluminum and soda ash fell over 1%, and caustic soda and stainless steel (SS) fell nearly 1%.
