Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular briefing on June 29
that China will provide an additional 100 mln yuan in emergency,
non-reimbursable material aid to Venezuela, supplementing earlier cash
assistance, for earthquake relief and reconstruction. The supplies will be sent
to Venezuela as soon as possible. China also provided satellite imagery of the
affected areas to support relief operations.
